These Terms govern your use of the MZ Finish Work website and the requests you make through it. MZ Finish Work provides tile, flooring and finish carpentry, bathroom and kitchen remodeling, and interior and exterior improvements for homes and businesses in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, USA, and we perform our work at the customer’s property. By using this site, you agree to these Terms.
Estimates are free. An estimate requested on this site, by phone or by text is a request, not a contract. Estimates are prepared after a walkthrough of the space, so we can see the existing conditions and understand what you have in mind. A project is agreed only once its scope, schedule and price are confirmed in writing before work starts.
Pricing depends on the project: the type of work, the size and condition of the space, and the materials involved. To prepare for the walkthrough we may ask you for more details or photos. Payment terms and any other conditions are as agreed in the written estimate for your project.
Preferred dates you submit with a request are not confirmed until our team confirms them with you. The project schedule, and how changes of date are handled, are as agreed in the written estimate for your project.
The customer provides safe access to the property and the work area at the agreed times, along with working water and electricity. Please tell us in advance about pets, alarms, parking or building rules, and anything in or near the work area that needs special care. We recommend removing fragile items and valuables from the work area before work starts.
The crew performs the work described in the written estimate for your project. Which materials are included, and who supplies them, is as agreed in that estimate. Changes or additional work outside that scope need to be agreed in writing before they are done. Conditions that could not be seen during the walkthrough (for example, behind walls or under existing floors) may require a change to the scope, schedule or price; if that happens, we will talk with you before continuing. We may decline or stop a job if conditions at the property are unsafe for the crew.

Do not misuse the site, submit false information, or attempt to disrupt its forms or security. We may refuse or remove submissions that violate these Terms.
Service descriptions and photos on this site are general and may change. What applies to your project is the scope confirmed in writing in your estimate.

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United States and of the state where the project is located (Massachusetts or Rhode Island).
